This is me. Taken at Applebee's, actually. Who knew restaurants made good backgrounds for photos?
On a completely random note, actually the picture that is the background for my lovely page I also took. It is a large elm tree right outside my old bedroom at the farm.

Now I am going to be doing my own website and it's updates, so I apologize in advance for the weird and crazy stuff that may or may not go up here at some point in the future.
First off, if you're on this particular site, you already know my name is Amanda. I'm nineteen going on 24. :) I love using smileys and probably will quite often.
Currently I'm a junior at Central Christian College. I absolutely love it. Well, maybe not always the classes. :) But I do love the environment, atmosphere, and all the amazing people I have met while going here. I don't want to leave. :)



This is Krista and I, actually taken this year. This was the one success in about thirty or so attempts to actually get a good picture of the two of us using our camera phones.

Also on a completely random note, do not give Krista a camera. She will take no less than 200 pictures of you doing everyday ordinary things. I have much experience with this and have many interesting pictures from it as well. :)

While on the subject of college, I'm going to introduce the beautiful girl with me in the picture to the left. That would be my gorgeous roommate, Krista, who now is also my honorary sister. She is completely insane and wonderful. :) I wouldn't have her any other way.
I'm working towards getting a Bachelor's in Biology, and then I'm going to take the GRE and see if I get accepted into grad school. I have always wanted to work with animals, so I will be doing something along those lines.I may be going to grad school to be a veterinarian. However, if that doesn't work out I am going to see where God leads me and take it from there.

Obviously, from my major, I absolutely adore animals. I am happy as long as I have one. :) Aside from animals, I also love music, listening and playing/singing, although I'm better at singing than playing, sports (playing and watching), tennis being my favorite, reading, writing (short stories, poetry, etc), drawing, although I'm awful at it, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, watching movies, teasing my friends, bowling, mini-golf, you name it, I probably like it. :)
I currently work as a Mary Kay Comestics independent beauty consultant and I tutor on the side. I'm working towards finding a job in one of the local veterinary offices or at the Humane Society or a pet shop. Somewhere where I can work with animals. (Especially since the dorms don't allow pets.) :)
